Well, we now have 3 roosters to add to our repertoire of animals! Shannon named them Moe, Larry and Curly. We think Henrietta might be in that great chicken coop in the sky (haven't seen her around for quite a few days)! Back to the roosters...those bloomin' things woke us up at 6:45 on Saturday morning and then at 5:45 on Sunday morning!!! We may have fried chicken on the menu tomorrow!
I think we've finally decided on Roscoe as our new puppy's name. We should be getting him in another week or two. The boys are pretty excited about that! We're also going to be getting a goat within the next few weeks, too. It's going to be a regular zoo around here! Seems like there's always something happening around here!! Shannon mentioned today that he might be picking up his bull on Saturday. Regular zoo...
The boys had a good day off from school today! They played with their friend Benjamin and had a blast. They jumped on the trampoline, played in the sandbox, ran around the yard doing what boys do, etc. Tonight we tried to help Shannon put one of his gates up when he got home but his drill wouldn't drill the hole. Go figure. Seems like he always has something to malfunction, go dead, not crank or break. Poor Shannon. Needless to say, we did NOT get the gate put up and Shannon was NOT surprised.
Neither was I.
